The 12th National Conference on Environmental Chemistry was held from 17 to 21 November 2023, in Wuhan, China. The conference is organized by the Environmental Chemistry Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and China University of Geosciences (Wuhan).

Runyun Wang (phD student) shared an oral report about "Study on the mechanism and reaction pathways of oxidative degradation of structurally different PFAS by sulfate radicals".

Zhenhuan Chen (phD student) delivered a speech on "Defluorination of chlorinated per/polyfluoroalkyl substances (Cl-PFAS) by sulfidated nanoscale zero-valent iron".

Wenyu Shan (phD student) delivered a speech on "Reaction activity and transformation mechanism of polyfluoroalkyl compounds (PoFAS) in hydroxyl radical systems".
